Who We Serve

Consultants

Geotech and environmental consultants need a drilling partner whose deliverable is data — not just holes. JDC has been that partner since 1966.

FIELD EXECUTION BUILT FOR REPORTS

A consultant’s deliverable depends on the quality of what comes out of the ground. JDC’s investigation and instrumentation work has included monitoring, extraction, and characterization wells at landfills and nuclear facilities, plus the standard soil sampling techniques — SPT, hollow-stem augering, Shelby tubes, pitcher barrel — that round out a typical geotechnical or environmental scope.

In sands and gravels where conventional drilling distorts the sample, JDC uses air rotary rigs equipped with casing hammers that drive the casing simultaneously with drilling, producing continuous uncontaminated samples. For monitoring and pore-pressure programs, we install piezometers, inclinometers, extensometers, and pore pressure devices.

JDC’s crews are OSHA trained and have completed work at sites with both known and unknown hazardous conditions. Where your scope calls for specific environmental certifications, please confirm requirements during the bid period.
